Are Genital Warts Common?
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, there are about 1 million new cases of genital warts each year in the United States.* There is no one “type” of person who gets genital warts. So they are something we should all be aware of.
Unlike cervical cancer, genital warts are not life threatening. But, they can be life altering. Even after treatment, genital warts can come back. In fact, 25% of cases come back within 3 months.
